The city of Philadelphia has been on point this summer with tons of outdoor festivals, surprise pop-up parks and beer gardens galore — plus all the food trucks there to keep your hunger at bay.
One of the coolest new things this summer is the newly utilized space near the Art Museum: the Oval, coined as Philadelphia’s “Park on the Parkway.” It’s an outdoor space for all ages featuring free special events, an ever-changing lineup of food trucks and a bustling beer garden.
If you are making your weekend plans, check out tonight’s event there called Magic Carpet, an outdoor multimedia installation by Philadelphia-based artist Candy Coated.
