The food truck community in Philadelphia continues to grow and Brands Imaging has been fortunate enough to collaborate with several trucks on some great looking wraps. But for those who have enjoyed the visual feast of these beautifully outfitted food trucks (not to mention the delicious treats they serve) and wondered, “hey, how’d they get so pretty?”, the Brands blog has a story for you. Don’t worry, it’s mostly a picture story:
All food truck wraps start with a naked truck. This gives us a skeleton to build off of. We take into consideration the trucks measurements, surfaces, and areas to potentially avoid.
Next, the Brands team creates a design mock up for the client to show the overall concept and placement of the design elements on the food truck to give an accurate visual for the finished wrap.
Once approved, the production phase begins. The food truck wrap is carefully diced into sections for printing (and, if you check out our previous post, you’ll know how we make these sections appear seamless!). Our Mimaki printer produces amazing, hi-res prints.
The last step is the installation process. Each section is laid out, then carefully and patiently applied to the food truck by the steady hands of our exceptional install team.
The final result? A beautifully wrapped food truck.
